Requirements for Student Membership

In addition to dues payment, the documentation described below must be submitted.

Student Membership Application

Effective through 31 December 2026 — Dues are not prorated.

Applicants for Student membership must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, actively pursuing a degree or certificate. 

The following documentation is required:

  1. Hardcopy student membership application form verifying enrollment in an accredited college or university with signature of Department Chair/Advisor — Download PDF student membership application form.
  2. Applicant shall email letter outlining why SQA membership will benefit them - Email to [email protected].

Documentation Required

Submit documentation via the online application, via e-mail to [email protected], or via mail to Society of Quality Assurance, 820 East High Street, Suite A, Charlottesville, VA 22902 USA.

NOTE: Documentation of student status must be submitted each year for renewal.


Application Review

All Student Member applications are reviewed by the SQA Bylaws and Ethics Committee and the SQA Board of Directors and take 4-6 weeks, from date all documentation is received, to be processed.
